Why Al Qalamoun ?

There are some hidden elements in the Syrian war, that if you do not understand then it is impossible to know the developments of the last weeks, because the Syrian geography is precious for the Syrians on one hand, and an interaction with the moral importance of the cities and their popular importance on the other hand. This makes the question legitimate about the reason of concentration on Al Qalamoun by the Syrian army and the resistance, while there is a real war that takes place in the North and the South of Syria that threatens its cities and regions.

Certainly, defensive arrangements in order to prevent the expansion of penetration which occured in Edlib and Jisr Al Shogour have been taken, moreover the situation in the countryside of Lattakia and beyond has become fortified as proved by sources that concern about the ongoing battles there. But there will be coming reversely attack’s  arrangements.

Al Qalamoun is the extended area from Al Quseir towards the parts of Mountain Haramoun, including the area of the The Masnaa Border Crossing between Lebanon and Syria. Through its crossing with Mountain Haramoun from both sides of Golan Heights and Shebaa Farms through the Western Bekaa, it surrounds the boundaries of Lebanon and Syria with occupied Palestine or the area of the expansion of the occupation army. While in the North, the region that stretched from Al Quseir to the sea with the channel of the AL-Kabir Al-Shamali River constitutes the attack and retreat battles between the Syrian army and the armed groups, but it was resolved through regaining of Al Quseir by the Syrian army and the resistance, and closing the borders between the Lebanese Akkar and the Syrian Akkar, Katinah Lake, Tel Kalakh, the sea and the channel of AL-Kabir Al-Shamali River.

The regional dimension of the war against Syria does not drawn by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, or Qatar but just Israel, furthermore the common project between the war alliance depends on how to make Israel win, which if it wins, then they will win in return because it is alone can make use of its gain in changing the equations of power and their strategic balances in the region, and in adjusting the American options.

If Israel has succeeded in making Al Nosrah Front dominates over Al Qalamoun, and expanding towards the parts of the Mountain Haramoun and towards the North till the basin of AL-Kabir Al-Shamali River and the sea, this means constituting an Emirate that controls the lines of deployment of the Occupation army, and making an isolator between Lebanon and Syria that prevents the direct engagement, and grasping the geography that breaks the relations between Lebanon and Syria, thus affects the resistance. Therefore, absolutely without discussion the success in this project will affect the deterrence balance which the resistance has made and which nothing else can affect it.

As  Al-Nosrah Front there is no value in  the presence of ISIS in the Syrian Raqqa and the Iraqi Salah  Al-Din, as far as  the value of the presence of ISIS Emirate in Mosul and in its opposite Al Hasaka, and Al Anbar and in its opposite Deir Al Zour towards the desert of Palmyra and the borders of Jordan, in order to break the relations between Syria and Iraq, so the third most important region from the strategic perspective if the two Emirates have established for ISIS across the borders of Syria with Iraq, and for Al Nosrah across the borders of Syria with Lebanon and Palestine is the borders of Jordan with Syria. With linking between the two emirates, Syria will have one gate to the world across Turkey. It does not matter how Turkey will penetrate by Al Nosrah or ISIS into the borders of Syria.

The collapsing of all the infernal projects starts from Al Qalamoun, and whenever Al Nosrah Front collapses in Al Qalamoun then it will be followed by the rest and its importance becomes tactical, just for that, the two North and South wars have been happened in order to prevent the war of Al Qalamoun. The hidden goal is to attract the military capability which is being prepared to resolve it towards the North and the South, where the Turks and the Jordanians have served the Israeli for this purpose, and for that the Syrian army has withstood, tolerated and endured but the drums are beaten as an announcement of the war of Al Qalamoun.

In Al Qalamoun the new map of the Middle East is drawn, and those who will control over Al Qalamoun will hold the keys of the map despite the spaces, cities, the moral and valuable importance of the lives of people, and the blood of the martyrs of the other places. Winning of Al Qalamoun will be the entrance to the winning battles, and vice versa, and what is before is determined with what is coming after…. This is true regarding the two fronts of fighting.
