No one of those who have heard the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir saying that the Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has to choose between the voluntary stepping down of the presidency or the confrontation of the military option but to wonder about the degree of mental balance of the speaker, because the speech about calling the President Al-Assad to step down by the spokesman mouthpiece of Saudi Arabia and all the involved countries in the war against Syria was lasting over four years. Syria has passed through conditions of military, political, and economic distress more severe than the conditions of today, while the President Bashar Al-Assad has not paid attention to these calls, but their callers have heard an explicit answer from him that as a Syrian citizen he is taking over the responsibility of the presidency of the Republic with the will of his people, and that he will not respond to any external will, moreover he will deal with it as an aggression against the Syrian sovereignty and will, he will not leave his position only as a martyr or through the free will of the Syrians in any electoral maturity where he will not have the popular mandate to bear this constitutional responsibility.
The call of the voluntary stepping down means here the interaction with the threats of the indirect war through funding, arming and bringing tens of thousands of the mercenaries and terrorists under the sponsorship of the forces of the war alliance with a pivotal role to Saudi Arabia, its response is waging the war and the steadfastness which Adel Al-Jubeir is knowing its conclusion without a need to remind him. Therefore, he knows the triviality of repetition, while the threat of the military option means here the direct war, which the most difficult of it and the most dangerous was shown through the mobilization of the American fleets on the Syrian shores, and the American announcement of the resolution of war and going on in the implementation of its arrangements and assigning its dates. It is known that Saudi Arabia was at the ranks of the applauders and the those who engaged of funding the costs of war, including paying the dues to the groups of the American pressure such as the Israeli lobbies to promote the choice of war against Syria, in addition to the bills of bribes which Saudi Arabia has spent for the American officials to provide false reports accusing Syria of using the chemical weapon, as was published in the American press the details of the Saudi role in fabricated them in preparation for the decision of war, and the paid bribes for the members of Congress who have advocated the resolution and promised of supporting it, but despite all of that the position the President Al-Assad was crucial and decisive regarding the decision of confrontation and preparation to pay the consequential cost of this war till the martyrdom near his army and people. It is known as well the season of slapping, lamenting, weeping and wailing which Saudi Arabia has lived when Washington has announced the return of its fleets without going to war was just sufficient with a settlement about the Syrian chemical weapon, as it is was known as well the American reactions towards the Saudi protesting against the resolution of American disregarding the objection of the war by asking about the extent of the Saudi rudeness which is embodied by the attempt to go to war through others. The wonder here is why Saudi Arabia does not prepare itself and go to the war against Syria?
If we want to hear the voices which say that Al-Jubeir is not stupid, in order to repeat what all have known its answer, that there is no opportunities for the abandonment of the Syrian President and there is no opportunities for threaten him by the war, so we will have to see Al-Jubeir’s speech as an announcement of something new according to this very well known. The new thing is that Al-Jubeir is notifying us of the Saudi resolution of war against Syria as a response of the changes which the Western attitudes have, from Washington, London, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Vienna, down to Ankara which admitted that the Syrian President will take over the leadership in the transitional phase regarding the political solution. But Saudi Arabia was as those who have said that they knew that the matter after the transitional phase will be at the Syrians themselves, so did Saudi Arabia decide to apply the military option which Al-Jubeir has talked about?
The logical comparison leads us to say that the conditions of such option were perfect two years ago, when the American fleets came to translate the resolution of war, and when Israel has not known the experience of the deterrence balance with the resistance according to equations of Shebaa Farms process, and when Turkey was at the peak of strength of the Justice and Development Party while it adhered the decision and the desire of partnership in the war, moreover when the Western countries had not signed the nuclear understanding with Iran, neither Saudi Arabia nor the Gulf countries had involved in the Yemen war, nor Russia had deployed in Syria in such size and level, nor the Russian Syria Iraqi Iranian alliance has been settled. So the thinking of war today is a kind of madness, it is a war without support, Saudi Arabia has to wage it alone against the system of power which no one can imagine how to announce the war against it, but only the declaration of Bahrain about the war on Japan by the end of the Second World War with the difference is that the conditions at that day were different because the war which Bahrain has announced was a silly joke on challenging the defeated country, while the announcement of Al-Jubeir of the war against a forceful alliance that is winning was a kind of madness.
Those who love Saudi Arabia have to choose to interpret the speech of Al-Jubeir between describing him as a stupid, idiot, or lacking the mental eligibility or describing the Saudi decision-maker of madness, but the clemency towards Saudi Arabia requires saying that Al-Jubeir has lost his mind.
