Nasser Kandil wrote: The Turkish days

  • Whatever we hear of attitudes of the involved parties in the war on Syria, especially Saudi Arabia and France, it is certain that the policies of the two governments will not be the same if the Justice and Development Party in Turkey has won of the majority for forming a government or not.
  • Turkey has formed the main front for the bets of war on Syria because of its bordered position, its capacities, its immunity for the Muslim Brotherhood, and the magnitude of its position in the Atlantic Alliance, so the war on Syria is different with or without Turkey.
  • France and Saudi Arabia try to ignore the Turkish elections as far as they practically wait for them.
  • Practically all the positions of Paris and Riyadh are escalation and negotiation together; the escalation paves the way for the continuation of the war if the bilateral Erdoghan and Oglu have won, while the negotiation opens the door for settlements if the bilateral has failed electorally.
  • The Turkish elections are on Sunday.
  • On Friday, the negotiating meeting of Vienna about Syria.
  • France and Saudi Arabia accepted the partnership of Iran after a long refusal, but they have said a speech of high degree about the content of the negotiations.
  • Vienna will not be emerged without knowing the attitudes and waiting for Turkey.
  • Next week, Vienna will return to a second round after the Turkish elections.
  • Al-Jubeir and Fabius may say that the elections are suitable solution for Syria.
