After the leakages, the analyses and the hopes had exhausted of their chances about what will be the formal position of Hezbollah toward the nomination of the Deputy Suleiman Franjieh by the Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri and the nomination of the General Aoun by the Head of the Lebanese Forces Samir Geagea, Al-Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah has appeared publicly and has clarified the matters interrupting the interpretation and the analysis. The speech of Al-Sayyed here is not to please that team or not, or to be praised by one team and criticized by another, what is important is that the team on which those who interested in the presidential issue have tried to say publicly or secretly that the ball is in its court, has given its opinion toward everything and the others have to show their positions on that basis of clarity.

Al –Sayyed has said that Hezbollah is sticking to the nomination of the General Aoun and that the nomination of Franjieh  has resolved the affiliation of the presidency to the team of the Eighth of March, moreover the package which he asked for within the understanding about the presidency was to exchange the concessions in order to ensure the presidency for the team of the Eighth of March in return of guarantees for the other team, since this has been resolved realistically and the package has become a burden after the positions of the others have shown it an obstacle, so Hezbollah has liberated the others from this call, it will not participate in the session of election that does not ensure the arrival of Aoun to presidency, the one who supports the nomination of Aoun and calls him to go to the parliament for election has to ensure that the session will end with the election of Aoun no one else.

Al Sayyed has said that Franjieh is a reliable ally, if the commitment which has been settled to the General Aoun, had been settled to Franjieh from the beginning then the position would have been the same today by the commitment to Franjieh as a candidate and that the only way to search for another candidate from Hezbollah is by Aoun’ withdrawing of his nomination, Hezbollah does not demand that from him but on the contrary it supports his nomination till the end, and the arrival for a candidacy has one way which is more of dialogue and consultation among all the parties, because the required is not having a winner and a defeated specially regarding the sectarian and the political interpretation of the major and main components.

There are two ways for presidency either those who are seeing an alternative of the General Aoun have to convince him to withdraw his candidacy in return of understandings with him or guarantees that are presented to him, or those who believe in the nomination of the General Aoun have to convince the Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri to adopt the nomination in return of understandings with him or guarantees that are presented to him, this is the concept of the package which is supposed that it related to the parliamentary elections and its law, and the government with its presidency and composition.

No one can ask Hezbollah of a guarantee more than its position, while the allies are partners through the free dialogue, they have respectable privacies, it is not acceptable to interpolate the separation between Hezbollah and its allies through inappropriate words neither toward Hezbollah nor toward them as Al-Sayyed has said.

Every one of the allies of Hezbollah and its opponents can make their consideration once again and take their positions clearly.
