Whenever the way gets more complex in front of the Yemeni settlement the sudden breakthroughs come and prove the opposite, and the more the political path of the settlement in Syria seems that it proceeds, the sudden surprises come to prove the opposite, this despite the fact that the magnitude of the international effort which is dedicated to the settlement in Syria is not compared with the UN auspices of the Yemeni settlement which is restricted in the attempts of the UN Envoy on one hand, and some of the Omani and Kuwaiti contributions on the other hand, while every articulated step in Syria is sponsored by a meeting that contains the Foreign Ministers of the greatest countries in the world America and Russia and sometimes the President of these countries. The settlement in Syria has an international regional supportive framework it is Vienna Group where the regional opponents headed by Iran and Saudi Arabia meet concerning Vienna Path about Syria despite that their roles in the war and in the solution are not restricted under direct Russian American presence and the presence of Turkey, France, and Israel in different proportions while the regional aspect of the war of Yemen and its settlement are almost restricted by Riyadh and Tehran, they are unable to meet to sponsor the settlement there, despite all of that the settlement proceeds in Yemen while it gets complicated in Syria.
Certainly the status of Syria, its war, and its settlement are much more complicated than Yemen, because on their basis the settlements of the balances on which the new regional system and the new international system will be drawn, this is according to the statements of the leaders of the involved countries in the war and which are concerned in the settlement, but it is certain as well that the path which started with the understanding on the Iranian nuclear program has constituted half of the way to develop these balances. Certainly the progress of the path of the Yemeni settlement resolves that the choice of settlements is the controller in the region crises and its wars. It is certain as well that the elements of the resolving in the components of the settlement in Syria as the inevitable role of the Syrian President and the Syrian army are no longer a matter of dispute in depth despite much of talks around. The war on terrorism which has become an international priority has decided, resolved, and identified the partners, and where Syria seems to be that it is in the forefront arena of this war, so it is supposed that the settlement must accelerate in it by the need of accelerating the availability of the reasons of winning in this war.
It is true that the end of the equation which controls the successive crises of the region and its relating wars will be subject to the equation of sewing; the last wounds come first while the first wound is the latest, but it is true that because the war of Yemen has to end first is does not require bombing the settlement backgrounds in Syria, but it's enough to cool the crisis and the settlement, and to move slowly waiting the launch of the Yemeni path, as the priority of the sequence taking off of the planes on the landing strips, what we are talking about is not the reason of the slowdown of the Syrian path but it is the secret of its repetitive setbacks.
There are three causes that can be linked with the erosion of the path of the Syrian settlement, first, in this settlement there is no place for Israel although it is the first concerned with how Syria will be after the settlement, second the fate of the govern in turkey became related with the future of the ruling in Syria, whatever the attempts of pretending to be clever increase and whatever the maneuvers arenas get expanded. Third, the parties which negotiate in Yemen are the same parties which are fighting, Saudi Arabia against Al Houthis in the war and the settlement, while in Syria the negotiating opposition delegation is mere an interface that is unable to make a settlement, it is just a military interface for Al-Qaeda Organization represented by Al Nusra Front where there is no place for it in the settlement, moreover it is a political interface for Saudi Arabia, turkey and Israel which do not pay the cost of escalation neither from the blood of their armies nor of their people, by they spent it from the Syrian blood in order to raise the negotiation limits searching for the interests of their regimes and governments, this opposition which accepts its absurd destructive role to serve others is aware in advance that any settlement at the end must resort to the ballot boxes and this means its inevitable end, it buys the time to be ready in need by the money which its leaders save for what is after the settlement and this means the end.
The path of the Syrian settlement will remain winding and governed by the resolving in the field step by step, as what has happened in Palmyra, the rural areas of Aleppo, and Latakia till the disrupted regional parties get out of the Syrian scene and the Syrian geography, thus the settlement becomes under the slogan of accepting the bitter for fear of the bitterest.
