- The final results of the municipal elections in Beirut revealed that Al-Mustqbal Movement, where its leader Saad Al-Hariri is waging his political leadership has earned 7% of the voters in favor of his list only.
- From the total 20 % of who participated in the elections, Al-Hariri’s list has earned less than 11% , only 7% of the votes were in favor of his Movement while the rest was for the coalitions.
- In the year 2000 the Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri and his allies have earned 35% of the votes, 28% of them were in favor of his Movement, knowing that the ratio of the participation was 40%.
- With Saad Al-Hariri the participation has been lowered to 20 % and the ration of the Movement to only 7%.
- The loss of Al Hariri of his three-quarters of his political influence coincides with his loss of three quarters of his wealth, and the loss of three-quarters of the willingness and the ability of Saudi Arabia to finance politically in Lebanon.
