Nasser Kandil wrote: Does Meshaal support Palestine or Erdogan?

  • At the creak of dawn and after the failure of the coup in Turkey Khaled Meshaal has initiated to announce his happiness saying that Palestine would be the first loser if the coup succeeded.
  • Khalid Meshaal can express his joy as a result of the rescue of his colleague and his leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Recep Erdgoan from the coup, but he has to prove his saying that Palestine was about to lose.
  • There are many possibilities in the policy of the coup, but the most probably is the positioning on the US and NATO policy but without the illusions and the madness of the greatness of the Ottoman Erdogan, therefore Turkey will be more involved in Washington’s wars on ISIS and its understandings with Moscow about Syria, so how will Palestine lose in this case?
  • The turning of the scale by the coup in favor of the secularists in Turkey at the expense of the Muslim Brotherhood would mean a decline in the external presence of Turkey in favor of the interest in the interior, so is the external expansion of Turkey is in favor of Palestine?
  • The relationship with Israel will be in its worst cases similar to the relationship of Erdogan and its party with it, so what will Palestine lose?
  • The recent deal of Erdogan was an Israeli support to Turkey by restraining the Kurds, and Turkish support to Israel by restraining the resistance, so what will Palestine lose through his departure?
