Nasser Kandil wrote: There is neither attack nor retreat in Aleppo

  • The observers of the Syrian war are accustomed to the alternation of its parties through using the term that the war is an attack and retreat in mentioning that what is dominated by their opponents is not final and there will be days in which these areas will be recaptured back. The war was actually that, as the alternation of the two parties in having control over the sensitive sites then recapturing them.
  • This time, the groups which have the title of the opposition say that the principle of the war as an attack and retreat can be applied on the war of Aleppo which will resolve the future of Syria.
  • This time there is no longer in the war in Syria an attack and retreat because there is one party that has the ability of the attack and the other has only the response of the retreat.
  • The attack and the retreat was on the day when the capacities of the parties have outweighed between what is possessed by Syria and what was mobilized for its fighting and overthrowing sequentially.
  • The attack and the retreat was an expression of the decision of Syria not to deplete its allocated capacities to the starting of the crucial attack before the deadline of that attack.
  • The timing is related to the end of the US deadline to overthrow Syria till the eve of the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
  • Since the beginning of the Syrian attack in Aleppo was the end of the attack and retreat and was the Turkish exit of the war, although Turkey is the responsible for the Syrian war.
