In all their wars, especially on the good old days the Americans were considering the discussions of the Security Council a verbal compensation of the inability of their opponents.

• Today the scene is repeated reversely, when France every week proposes a project for a debate on Syria followed by a draft resolution, it knew already that the there is no decision without the approval of Russia, and there is no decision without the American approval.
• The Gulf media is preoccupying these days with reporting the proceedings of the Security Council's discussions and with bringing analysts who philosophize the meanings of the debate and the probabilities of what is going to happen, they know that it is mere a compensation of the inability and a condolences to those who linked their fate with the West, and they are losing.
• The Gulf media says that Syria and Russia have decided to resolve the situation in Aleppo in the dead time between electing the US President and assuming the power, but they do not say what is going to happen after the new president takes over the power.
• There is no dead time but the time which they lost in the illusions of achieving a victory in Syria, and the time which they lost for imposing settlement.
• There is no dead time in the wars, but a victor who invests every moment for more achievements and a defeated who losses the time in searching for illusions, a consolation of the defeat and a compensation of the inability.
• They will babble a lot.
