Nasser Kandil wrote: The Minister of Interior does not have the right

  • The Saudi Minister of Interior feels ashamed to say the speech of the Lebanese Minister of Interior Nuhad Al-Mashnouq about the visit of the President of the Republic the General Michael Aoun to Saudi Arabia concerning the political cost that will be paid by Lebanon in exchange of activating the Saudi donation which was canceled, this cost was pledged by the Lebanese President, so he has to implement his commitments, their contents are to prevent any Lebanese party from issuing any negative political statements toward the Saudi policy, the announced intention in the words of the minister is Hezbollah and its Secretary-General who does not issue insults but political positions.
  • Who had the opportunities to attend the dialogues of the President of the Republic on the Saudi TV channels, have heard the words of a statesman and the clarity of the visions about how to manage the relationship with Saudi Arabia and others, according to the positions of Hezbollah and its role in Syria and linking this presence and the role with the regional equations.
  • If it was true what was said by the Minister of Interior, then we would see that the speech of the President was confusing and hinting to something similar, and that the minister would talk and keep silent, because the success of the pledges require the necessary silence by addressing first the concerned people with the demands and discussing them silently, since they are the closest allies of the President.
  • The words of Al Mashnouq are an attempt to thwart the visit of the President and to affect his relationship with Hezbollah. It is disgraceful to Lebanon.
