- The UN Envoy Steffan De Mistura wanted to visit Syria but he was not welcomed.
- Syria asked De Mistura for a clarification for the positions attributed to him about the form of the rule, the constitution, the government, and the Syrian internal affairs that cannot be discussed by the non-Syrians.
- The clashes which were ignited by Al Nusra front and in which the formations that participated in Geneva participate have taken place. The attacks were adopted by the official statements of the group of Riyadh's Conference and the symbols of its negotiating delegation, so Damascus asked De Mistura for an answer about whether the negotiations are revolving with Al Nusra in unannounced way through formations, figures, and groups that form the political fronts for it, so it has asked him for a position and to notify the participants in Geneva of the impossibility to combine between the partnership with Al Nusra in the field and to go to Geneva to negotiate. De Mistura remained waiting for a deadline.
- In the heart of Aleppo's clashes before the Syrian victory De Mistura has adopted a project for cease-fire that requires the formation of self-administration in the eastern of Aleppo in favor of a council handed over by Al Nusra in exchange that the Syrian country and its army does not enter to it, but Syria refused the project entirely.
- De Mistura has already said that the negotiation needs adjusting the balances of powers.
- De Mistura does not feel ashamed from running the negotiations as a partner of Al Nusra.
