Nasser Kandil wrote: Egypt and the terrorism

  • The Egyptian country refused to turn into mere subordinate to the Gulf despite its coping and compliance with many Gulf positions at the expense of its interests and its sovereignty and replacing the Qatari hegemony with some dependency on Saudi Arabia.
  • The issue of Tiran and Sanafir as Egyptian islands that have been abandoned to Saudi Arabia, contrary to the Egyptian will and sovereignty is still a matter of public opinion in Egypt.
  • Egypt did not commit an error when it withdrew from the Arab summit in Amman by its president protesting on the speech of the Prince of Qatar.
  • Egypt did not commit an error at Riyadh summit when it suggested to Turkish-Qatari role in sponsoring the terrorism.
  • Egypt cannot stop here while it knows that Al-Qaeda organization and ISIS are revised copy of the combination of the Muslim Brotherhood and Wehhabism and an open security field for the Turkish, Qatari, and Saudi intelligence.
  • After the massacre, Egypt cannot be sufficient with dealing remotely with the threat, to accept and to be satisfied with the lie of protecting the Arab national security, where there is no threat from the Eastern side with Iran, and it cannot ignore that the threat is from the north especially where Turkey is on the borders and inside the Syrian territories.
  • A required Egyptian step to adjust the compass to the concept of security, its gateway is the public position from Syria.
