Nasser Kandil wrote: Al-Jubeir and the negotiating body are lying

  • When the Saudis through their governments, the statements of their Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, and the negotiating body of Riyadh Conference declared statements that deny what was published about a change in their positions towards the conditions of the political solution in Syria, then we need to pay attention and to examine carefully.
  • The source of the speech about the Saudi change and its reporting to Riyadh Hijab is an official Saudi speech that was notified to the Americans, the Russians, and the UN envoy that the needed advice to the negotiating body by Saudi Arabia is the necessity to deal realistically with the variables especially to adapt with the staying of the Syrian President, these are official undoubtable resources.
  • The clarifications say that there is no change in the support of Saudi Arabia to the negotiating body, but this does not negate the political change or the Saudi position that hopes to reach a solution that does not include the Syrian President. It is an expression that is not denied by the Saudis.
  • The negotiating body says that there is no change in the position towards the presidency but the mechanisms may change. In the backstage the negotiating body will adopt"changing the Syrian President in the elections".
  • The Saudi and his groups know that the acceptance of competitive elections with the President Al-Assad is the essence of change, since they refused it before because they were confident of the failure, and they accept it today because they are confident of failure too.
  • The difference is that they were previously refused every formula that leads to the survival of Al Assad.
  • The all lie.
