The President of the Republic the General Michael Aoun and the leader of the resistance Al-Sayyed Hassan Nasrollah have called for a clear investigation into the circumstance of kidnapping and killing the Lebanese soldiers by ISIS.
The families of the martyr soldiers accepted the two calls which have become a demand after the regaining of their sons alive was disrupted, it was proven that they were killed after they were kidnapped in a few months, so will these two calls give them the consolation after they lost their beloved as a sort of justice that shows the default and reveals the embroilment.
In the professional investigation which aims at fairness not revenge, there are two separate axes one is military and the other is political.
In the military axis, the beginning is from the words of the former Commander of the Commando Regiment the Brigadier General Shamel Rouqez who was in charge of Arsal front when the soldiers were kidnapped, he asked for a consensus of the Commander of the army to pursue the kidnappers and to liberate the soldiers, but his demand was rejected. So who was behind this refusal the Commander of the army at that time Jean Kahwagi or did he demand from others so what its approaches?
In the political axis, the government’s choice was to negotiate through the Muslim Scholars Association which it was proven that it has a relationship with Al Nusra front and ISIS along with figures from Al Mustaqbal Movement in Arsal, and it was proven that the choice of negotiation was to facilitate the transfer of the soldiers to Juroud and to make their liberation impossible, so who is behind this decision and why?
Between these two axes there is those who have organized a political and media campaign to prevent the military prosecution or the popular confrontation if it was put into practice, they provided the coverage to the negotiators whom their conspiracy with the kidnappers to smuggle the kidnapped soldiers was proven. Among the participants in this campaign there are deputies, ministers, journalist, and politicians, so what were their backgrounds and considerations? And were they separate or due to decision and choice?
Who is the responsible for the loss of the soldiers and how their blood is saved from the loss is the duty of the investigation, and the one who tries to obstruct will be a partner in this crime.
