• At the beginning of holding Geneva meetings of the dialogue between the Syrian government and the opposition, the Turkish veto was effective, it prevented strongly the invitation of the most important Kurdish team to the meetings despite the Russian endeavors, but at the same time there was not any US pressure that expresses the concern about the Kurds and their participation.
• At a subsequent stage after the formation of the negotiating body in Riyadh conference, Saudi Arabia insisted on the prevention of the participation of the most important Kurdish faction which means the protection committees, it was told that it is a Turkish request, but it lasted even in the peak of the Saudi –Turkish dispute.
• The Americans who cooperated with Russia in forming areas of calm in the South of Syria under the title of the war on ISIS and the non-collision with the Syrian country and the armed groups which accept to fight ISIS have not listed the areas of the Democratic Forces of Syria where the Kurdish groups dominate within the projects of calm, furthermore, they have not shown an interest in inviting them to participate in Astana.
• The Kurdish leadership itself which is accused of establishing international public relationships and introducing the federalism as a new formula for Syria did not make any effort to participate neither in Astana nor in Geneva.
• The only interpretation is the deliberate intentions to make the Kurdish absence from Astana and Geneva a way for unilateral steps that confuse the political solution in Syria.
• Therefore, it is not the right of the Kurdish leadership to ask tomorrow about the reason of the consequences of its taking options that affect the unity of Syria and its sovereignty; it has chosen the hostility and put itself under suspicion.
