• The Wall Street Journal published that one of the reasons of focusing on the repercussions of the major military strikes in Syria in addition to the threats of getting involved in uncontrolled confrontations is the risk of the flow of millions of Syrian refugees to the West.
• In Lebanon, the officials know that one of the reasons of what is so-called the Western decision to preserve stability is the concern from new emigration to Europe, and that the most prominent reason of the interest in the economic conferences in Lebanon is their linking with conditions that ensure the staying of the refugees.
• The Western point of view in dealing with the issue of refugees is clear, it is worried about their flow to its arenas and confusing it, and at the same time it is keen not to return them back without political price paid by the Syrian state, so it is concerned about the refugees in Lebanon in order to be accommodated without return.
• In contrast and without any support of the UN and Western institutions which flaunt of their caring about the refugees , the Syrian state tries to provide the suitable conditions for the return of every group of refugees whether due to the return of the security to their areas or due to the provision of the opportunities of communicating with the displaced groups, however this cannot be achieved without the cooperation of the quartering countries as Lebanon, where the position of the Prime Minister is still disabling the initiative of the President of the Republic which calls to coordinate with the Syrian state regarding this file.
• The initiative led by the Major General Abbas Ibrahim, the Director of the Lebanese General Security with the coordination of the Syrian state to ensure the return of the refugees to Beit Jinn in the south-west of Syria is a courageous step that worth the appreciation and the praise, and it must be taken as an example.
