• It is not a secret that all the confrontations are related to the Russian-American relationships or at least affected by them. During many years America and Russia have become two opposite active partners in all the major conflicts which affect the international scene.
• The identification of the key of the Russian-American relationships and their course towards confrontation or negotiation and settlements is not determined in the arenas where Russia is superior and where it waits for the US recognition, since the one who has a new status in the international relationships is Russia, while the one whose intentions are not clear whether towards settlements or confrontation is America.
• The fields in which America is interested are those which must be followed up. The rate of escalation to calmness in them allows knowing whether there is a negotiation between Moscow and Washington and to where it reached.
• The tension with North Korea was the most important source of the American concern, and the removal of this concern is impossible without a settlement where Russia is a main party in it.
• There were an announcement of a US-Korean summit, then a visit of the Head of the US Intelligence the new Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Korea in preparation for that summit, and then the Russian President was invited by the US President for a summit. The preparation for it started with the meeting of the US national security adviser with the Russian Ambassador in Washington.
• North Korea’s announcement to halt its nuclear and ballistic tests is an important sign of progress in the Russian-American negotiation.
