Turkey and the internal movement regarding Syria
 After the Summit of Tehran which was broadcasted on air and which the entire world
watched it including the Turkish people and its parties, it seemed that the Turkish
President Recep Erdogan was in a dilemma, especially regarding what he promoted about
an excellent relationship with the Russian President, which was not true.
 The statement issued by the Republican People’s Party the biggest opposition party, and
the second biggest party in Turkey said that the deterioration in the Russian-Turkish
relationship is clear through the words of the Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep
Erdogan; it is about Erdogan’s refusal of the relationship with Syria and its President on
the basis of the recognition of its right to deploy its army on the international borders. He
considers the position of the Turkish President wrong and unrealistic.
 The Republican People’s Party launched an initiative that calls for a direct relationship
with the Syrian country and ends the rupture resulted from Turkey’s adoption of the
groups which fought against the Syrian country. This initiative reveals the Turkish
popular atmosphere that wants the salvation from the black phase in the relationship
between the two countries. This is clear in two items of the initiative, the first one calls
Turkey to ask the opposition factions to lay down their weapons, ,while the second item
calls to revive Adana Agreement between the Syrian and the Turkish governments before
the war.
 The Turkish confusion in Idlib battle will not lead to any change in the Russian position
or in the course of war. Before the end of the battle of Idlib, Erdogan has to activate the
imitative of the Republican People’s Party in order not to be among the losers.
