Nasser Kandil wrote: Erdogan seizes the opportunity

It is not necessarily that one has set a trap for the Saudi Crown Prince as the trap
of April Catherine Glaspie for Saddam Hussein through the US illusion of
accepting the invasion of Kuwait, and it is not important whether the Saudi or the
Iraqi involvement has formed at that time an opportunity for such an ambush or
was a part of a plan, as it is not important if the Turkish President Recep Erdogan
was a part of this plan and on the bank of the beneficiaries.
 What is important is that Erdogan who is aware of his loss in Syria, the
inevitability of getting his troops out of it, the recognition of the end of war, and
the victory of the Syrian President and the Syrian army, in addition to the return
of the unity of Syria cannot bear such loss without getting a precious gain.
 Erdogan wants to make use of the case of Jamal Khashoggi as the opportunity for
which he waits, and the prey which he wants to attack, he wants to turn it into an
international issue that ends with the defeat of the Saudi Crown Prince and his
stepping down or maybe his persecution. What matters him is the end of the
Kingdom’s leadership of the Arab and Islamic worlds, so Turkey can replace the
Riyadh. He wants to reconsider the new negotiating formula on the Palestinian
cause with Moscow and Washington on the basis of the announcement of the end
of the deal of the century along with Bin Salman and his project.
 Turkey does not search for a financial or political deal as some think. It is a matter
to compensate the losses of the major war. This means that when Saudi Arabia
failed in implementing its obligations to bring the Palestinians for selling
Jerusalem, it has been turned into a spoil that is shared by the alliance of losers in
the war, and has been turned into a spoil to the alliance of winners as a condition
for the new plan and its revenues.
