The words of the US President Donald Trump before the Congress were just a
confirmation of the withdrawal from Syria and the intention to withdraw from
Afghanistan. He was justifying the withdrawals by victories were not achieved by his
army or his administration rather by his opponents in the resistance axis supported by
Iran whether in Syria or in Iraq, they achieved victory on ISIS which Trump boasted of it.
 Most of his words were directed to the American interior, the disagreements with the
Democrats, and the division between the Republicans. Trump did not declare any
decision but he was confused among the difficult options.
 Trump has not declared the retreat from the war with Mexico, and has not declared a state
of emergency, but he addressed the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy
Pelosi in a negotiating way by saying “if there is going to be peace and legislation, there
cannot be war and investigation” as if he shows his intention to cooperate if he is
reassured that there is no threat of investigation intended by Pelosi against him.
 In the investigation, Trump considers his personal fate as a national security. The New
York Times described that as a sign of concern not a sign of strength.
 Trump’s review of the economic achievements and the revenues of women, does not give
him a feminist support, which seems lost because the women in the Congress were in the
same place, dressed in white with the President of the Congress in order to say that we
are here and we become strong.
