Nasser Kandil wrote: Netanyahu after Moscow

The speech of Benjamin Netanyahu has been changed totally after his return from
Moscow, he moved from talking about the military solutions to end the Iranian
presence in Syria as a priority of security and as an expression of the capacity of
the occupation army to the talk about the diplomatic coordination between
Moscow and Tel Aviv and the fate of the foreign forces in Syria including the
Iranian presence.
 Implicitly, Netanyahu’s words mean the cessation of the Israeli raids for a while
under the slogan of giving the diplomatic understanding with Moscow an
opportunity to reach satisfactory results, waiting for the results of the Israeli
elections and the chances of Netanyahu’s winning in forming a new government
in order to discuss the issues with this government.
 Practically, this means the transition of the Israeli intervention in Syria from a
stage to another in a way that is gradually will be similar to what has been
achieved by Moscow against the Turkish intervention, since the recent Israeli
raids on Damascus are similar to the Turkish military role in the battles of Aleppo
before Astana path.
 Netanyahu knows that the regression is not to search for a diplomatic solution,
rather an expression of the weakness of the Israeli deterrence capacity and the
regression of its ability to take a risk. He knows that Moscow will present within
its concept of the presence of the foreign forces in Syria the issue of the
occupation of Golan as a Syrian territory dominated by foreign forces, and
considering the disengagement in Golan front a viable way to keep security as the
Adana Agreement with Turkey.
 Israel will find itself obliged to put its occupation of Golan on the negotiating
table versus the Iranian presence, this achievement will be in favor of Iran.
