While Turkey is going to buy S-400 missile system from Russia, not caring about the
threats of the American sanctions and the threat of withdrawing Incirlik Air Base from its
territory, the Turkish army gets an American offer to buy American Patriot missiles
network instead, and in order to encourage Turkey, Washington proposed new models of
Patriot at low prices and financial facilities.
 By comparison between Lebanon and Turkey, simply it can be said that threatening the
Lebanese airspace is present, while Turkey is being prepared for conventional arming
preemptively without risks that threaten its air space seriously. Turkey is a member in the
NATO led by Washington whose arming is subject to controls of coordination and
integration, while Lebanon has only secret relationships of some of its political
leaderships that make it subordinate to the American orders especially regarding the ban
of getting non-American weapons.
 On the occasion of the visit of the Lebanese President Michael Aoun to Moscow, the US
Assistant Secretary of State David Satterfield will arrive to Beirut to form a pressure front
to prevent any Lebanese interaction with Russian offers which Washington thinks that
Moscow will provide during the visit, as the readiness to provide Lebanon with Russian
Air Defense System at low prices and financial payment facilities.
 The Americans object while they are aware of the Lebanese need for such a defense
network due to the Israeli violations of the Lebanese airspace, but they do not offer
alternative offer instead, they wants to keep it uncovered without air defense network
although they pretend of their keenness on the Lebanese sovereignty, because the priority
is to protect the Israeli aspirations.
 As a reminder, the resistance has emerged as a ground defense when the Lebanese army
was prevented from practicing its defense duties on the borders, but tomorrow when the
resistance will emerge as an air defense; those who pretend of caring of sovereignty will
talk about the decision of war and peace.
