The size of the campaign and its type launched by the Lebanese Forces party against the
President of the Republic and the Free Patriotic Movement and its ministers is not
commensurate with the title chosen by the Forces party “Electricity plan” and with those
involved in it.
 “The electricity plan” has been in circulation for days, but the notes about it by the
commission of the Council of Ministers do not suggest the campaign which appeared as a
deadly war.
 MTV channel revealed the hidden reason for this violent campaign, it talked about a
presidential monopoly to transfer Lebanon from the Western traditional coverage to
Moscow’s axis whether in approaching the Syrian issues as the return of the displaced or
in approaching the regional issues as the American decision of the recognition of Israel’s
sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan including the Lebanese Shebaa Farms.
 During the visit of the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Lebanon, there were
American symbolic messages that warned the President of the Republic from making this
visit an opportunity to surpass the limits of courtesy and protocol and to avoid any
understandings in oil, gas, and weapons fields.
 The campaign of the Forces party is just a one of Pompeo’s recommendations that takes
the electricity plan as a pretext.
