The classification of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on the American terrorism list
occurs for the first time for forty years ago. Some analysts wonder why it is unlikely that
the US sanctions system affect figures that were never been affected before.
 In spite of everything, there is no one in Washington who can stop the political
negotiation, especially in the light of the inability to go to further escalation “war” just for
that the Lebanese Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri is more important than the
equation of the tactic game of sanctions with Hezbollah which is an indispensable pillar
in the balances of the region and even for the American player, who knows the annoying
position of Berri to the Israeli interests. Therefore, the negotiation is necessary and it
needs a negotiator who is not chosen by Washington alone, since the example of Oman
which is promoting normalization is no longer valid for such a task.
 Just for that they tamper with Berri on the edge of the abyss which he masters well, they
chose Peter Ferrara who was a consultant at the office of the former US President Ronald
Regan and he was in charge of managing a psychological warfare against Berri. He chose
the press leaking information as a method to follow. He is a personal friend of the US
President Donald Trump and his Secretary of State Mike Pomepo. Once he appears as an
analyst and a writer and once as an unnamed advisor of Trump. He visited Lebanon
several times and met some of its figures. He is the owner of the “New Regan theory”.
 Ferrara has thousands reasons to get upset from Berri, especially in igniting a Shiite Iraqi
movement against Sunnis and Kurds and between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and he is upset
from Berri’s diplomacy in the parliament which is characterized with its hostility to
Israel, and from Berri’s consideration of the sensitivity of gas and oil issues and his
commitment to play on the edge of the abyss with the American threats of the withdrawal
from role of mediator unless he accepts the proposals of America to give half of the
disputing land as a present to Israel, but Berri refused.
 Ferrera leaked the subject of sanctions, Pomepo indicated to that, the members of the
Congress denied that, but Berri knows the rules of the game, so he plays it silently
mastering such a game.
